They don’t all work first time. I hope to show my best work in this blog but also the effort that goes in, the process etc. So here are some wet in wet watercolours which I have been working on. The idea is to create a label image for my client at Findlay’s Bar. This is a handmade Scottish soap e-commerce website* using WordPress. The soap and bath bombs are lovely so it would be good to get a nice handcrafted look for the label. Valentines day is due so out come the hearts. Here is the work so far, I think that the stalks could be thinner and a jaggy leaf or too might add a bit of character.
